Award-winning skin therapist, educator, and someone who knows how good it feels to finally feel seen in your skin.
I wasn’t always in the skin world.
For years, I worked in aged care and disability support; roles that shaped the way I care for people today: with gentleness, curiosity, and deep respect.
Then came the facial that changed everything.
It was a Mother’s Day gift. My first facial ever.
I was a tired young mum who barely wore makeup, let alone had a skincare routine or a background in beauty, but the smells, the textures, the stillness… I walked out of that treatment room feeling more like myself than I had in months.
Three months later, I was enrolled in beauty school, and I haven’t stopped learning since. Today, I use that same touch, intention, and education to help my clients feel safe, calm, and seen.
The Path That Led Me Home
After completing my Diploma of Skin and Body and receiving their Skin Therapist of the Year award, I landed my first industry job at a luxury 5-star spa. It was the kind of place where treatments were polished, products were fancy, and every detail sparkled.
I learnt a lot there, but I wanted more than polished. I wanted personal.
So, I began building something quieter, slower and authentically me. One treatment at a time, I opened my own home-based skin studio in Singleton, Western Australia. Over time, that studio became a sanctuary for women who were tired of quick fixes and wanted to feel calm, cared for, and confident in their skin.I love what I do every day and my mission is to ensure all my clients feel beautiful and confident in their own skin.
And that’s what I’m here to do!
Honest, Holistic, Individual
There are no “acne facials” here, no bright clinical lights and definitely no cheesy sales scripts.
With every visit, your treatment is tailored in real-time by me, based on what your skin is telling us on that day.
This is the magic of Corneotherapy, the treatment philosophy of Jacinta Curnow Skin.
Corneotherapy focuses on healing the skin barrier, rather than stripping or forcing it into submission. It examines what lies beneath the breakouts, the redness, and the inflammation, and asks: Why is the skin responding this way? What needs support?
It’s the opposite of a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s slow, science-based skin care designed to bring the skin back into balance, especially helpful for:
Hormonal acne and post-pill breakouts
Perioral dermatitis
Sensitivity, inflammation, and barrier damage
Skin that’s been “over-treated” or overloaded
I look at the skin through more than just a professional lens. Yes, I bring my corneotherapy eye and naturopathy training, but I also see you through the eyes of a mum who knows how hard it can be to show up for yourself when you’re stretched thin. Sometimes, healing looks like education and strategy, and sometimes, it looks like 20 quiet minutes under the LED with no one needing anything from you.
This is a space for skin healing, but it’s also a space for nervous system rest, emotional safety, and realistic routines. I’ll never send you home with a 12-step regimen or shame you for not doing more. I get it, and I’ve got you.
You’re Not Asking for Too Much
You want to feel good in your skin again. To understand what’s really going on beneath the breakouts, the redness, the flare-ups. To rest. To be listened to. To finally feel like someone gets it.
That’s why I do this work.
To offer a different kind of skin care, one that feels calm, realistic, and deeply personal.
If your skin’s been trying to tell you something, I’d love to help you listen.
